About Us

The hotel takes it's name from Tamworth's most renowned adopted son, Sir Robert Peel - the 19th Century statesman, Prime Minister, and founder of The Metropolitan Police - who was a member of Parliament for Tamworth from 1834-5 and 1841-6.

The Peel Hotel is owned and managed by the Gill family, drawing on over thirty years of experience in the catering, hospitality and hotel trades.

Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible, combining a good standard of accommodation, a high quality, regularly changing menu and a well stocked bar.

We are please to say that many of our customers are 'regulars' who enjoy coming back to dependable standards within a friendly atmosphere - delivered at a reasonable price.
